i always wondered what made them friends.i like your interpertation.

Anguirus: “Yeah, Goji and I go way back. We met on a deserted island back in 1955. We talked for a while, had a few cold ones, and started sparring. I guess we got a little carried away since we ended up falling off a cliff and into the ocean.”
 
Fluttershy: “Oh my, that sounds dangerous. were you both alright?”
 
Anguirus: “We were fine. Things really got out of hand when we met up in Osaka.”
 
Fluttershy: “What happened there?”
 
Anguirus: “Well, it turns out that Goji doesn’t like ending things in a draw. Long story short, I ended up in a comma for 17 years and he was frozen for 7.”
 
Godzilla: “And we’ve been best friends ever since.”
 
Fluttershy: “…Yay?”
 
Pinkie Pie: “That’s amazing! I wish I could go to Japan.”
