I know what you’re talking about, I saw those problem that you just pointed out. I have been studing more anatomy since then and I’m pretty sure that I could come out with something a lot better. Probably I will Re-Remake that one soon.

in that second one i can see you got a somewhat good sense of anatomy, you should work on anatomy sketches ASAP to jump above that uncany-looking-anatomy wall.

his right arm looks detached or too far away from his chest. we shouldnt be seeing that much of the botton of his shoe, the hands look too small and the proportion of the legs look wonky.

believe me, do some(preferably A LOT of) anatomy practicing and you will be able to naturaly fix those litle and not so litle things. look up guides on tumblr or DA, or ones from you favorite artists.

I’m always trying new tecnics to improve my drawing skills. I know that I’m not very good but I’m pretty proud of where I got and yet trying to get further. I know that I have a lot to learn yet. Damn even look at the trees logs of the background of the 2014 image I didn’t try anything on them and look awful compared to the rest of the picture.

aniwy, heres 2 art tips for all ages:

-stop doing digital. first learn, and also master drawing/sketching on pen and paper, helps drawing speed and gives you experience.

-stop coloring stuff, first learn proper anatomy and good-looking stylization of such trough sketches and later/lineart, inking. then you can learn coloring methods and proper shading.
