Honestly, I did not know about that while making this thing. That’s a cool pun, though.
It’s the word “Granatapfel”. In itself, it just means “pomegranate”, however it at least looks like it’s made of the words “Granate” and “Apfel”, which means “grenade” and “apple” respectively.
Mind you, it’s a rather obvious pun and one that has been done several times before, so I can’t exactly brag with my wittiness here.
What German joke? It’s just an apple, yo.

I actually enjoy the MK 2 grenades a lot more than the currently used M67. Easier to grip. Not like these little baseball sized bombs.
