Even once it catches up to you, it still takes a moment to swirl around and taunt you before detonating. Since it looks like it only just reached her, she’ll still have time to cross the finish line before it ruins her. And even then, we’re assuming that this is the last lap of the race. Anything earlier than that, and she’ll have time to recover and regain her position.
What about angular velocity? It’s infinite?
I’ve actually managed to do that, but don’t count on it- the blue shell’s speed is 20kph faster than you at all times. It wouldn’t matter if you were moving at Mach 5.
Luckily, I’ve done that before in MK7.
