I actually read this fan fiction and it’s and it’s amazing and I don’t know why but, I absolutely love the lunilla idea, tarbano please make this shipping in the story, it makes so much sense!

Actually there being a benign version of Godzilla is canon. Worst thing this version did in the films was accidentally startle some beach goers and he nearly died defending a city from another kaiju

Maybe it’s because they have something in common. Let’s look at Godzilla.
 
Godzilla: Started out as a simple dinosaur that was nearly killed by shell bombardments by the US navy and left for dead before being mutated into what he is now by the Hydrogen Bomb testings.
 
Luna: Became Nightmare Moon due to her jealousy attracting the Nightmare Forces.

I have no idea where it stems from either.
 
Maybe it’s because people just like the two (Godzilla is the most popular Kaiju and Luna has tons of fans) so they ship them due to popularity.
 
That, or they think it’d be interesting for the two to kiss and make-up after their fight. (Literally.)
 
Personally, I’m more ambivalent to it. It’s not bad and it is interesting….
 
But I do so want to see more of that Guardsmare flirting with Godzilla. (I liked her.) Who knows, maybe she’ll get lucky. ;D
