>not liches
>trapped souls
>not dead
I’m just gonna assume she did it without their permission.
I never said they were liches. Just that she had their souls. Twilight will not outlive her friends, and a trapped soul isn’t dead, technically…
Her friends are lichs too? Voluntarily or by force?
Probably an alternate continuity where she didn’t ascend to alicornhood. She may have her friends’ souls in tasteful decorative boxes on her mantlepiece. Her phylactery, meanwhile, is probably something as close to indestructible as is magically possible.
Four years for an English lit degree, just to post Dylan Thomas quotes on a MLP fandom image board. Totally worth it!
I like a man who knows his classics.
Ha ha, pretty much.
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the lich
She probably has Spike take care of it.
**Spike drops it**
Oh bother.
A phylactery is a small container where a lich keeps its soul. If that is destroyed, the lich is destroyed. Since alich’s physical bodies are pretty much indestructible, the phylactery is the most important thing to them.
What’s a phylactery? Is it a lich thing?
More importantly, where is Twilight’s phylactery?
Dewy Oak looks like a normal, old, library pone. This thing is a legit skeleton lich pone.
How did Twilight become a Lich anyways?
Oh, come on. Liches in libraries are perfectly normal. Look at Dewy Oak in the Twilight’s First Day comic.
…that wasn’t sarcasm, I’m genuinely creeped out by this
Hold me…
The same can be said of most things.
