Description
NAME: Gem
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Dragon/Pony hybrid
CUTIE MARK/SPECIAL TALENT: A perfectly cut, shining ruby represents his gemcutting skills. He discovered his talent after a short dispute with his mother, in which he insisted that the gems she was applying to a dress were “uneaven”, and that he could fix them.
BIO: As far as the lives of ponies go, Gem has it tough. He was conceived naturally after many failed attempts, and even then, pony and dragon DNA aren’t made to mix. He was born very premature, only half the size of a regular foal. Nopony expected him to live for more than a few hours, and it was miraculous when he began to become more and more active.
For most of his childhood, Gem has remained tightly clung to either is parents or his Aunt, Sweetie Belle. Being so small and weak, he suffers major self-esteem issues and almost completely refuses to interact with other colts and fillies. He does, though, like watching his parents work on stylish clothing and has developed a keen eye for fashion.

Wait, wrong Jem.
