If one searches by the comic’s tag, that’s unnecessary.
Eh?
Pretty much how some friendships work in real life isn’t it?
The show covers that aspect really well i reckon, subtly i might add. Correct me if I’m wrong but i don’t know if we have seen lessons about friendships based on materialism. I wonder how they would tackle that.
Gilda doesn’t seem to have either of those things, and so seems totally in control. It makes sense that Dash would admire her a little bit. She hasn’t got the maturity to realize what Gilda truly is.
Yep, that’s what I meant.
Gilda’s about to try and peer pressure Dash into shoplifting. Thus the ‘special episode’ where Dash learns that stealing is wrong/not to give into peer pressure.
I sort of understand what your saying. Your worried that it’s veering into cliche (which i honestly don’t think is that bad a thing).
But I’m just a little perplexed when you said “very special episode”.
I can finally rest in peace…
Dunno, but among the underdog sports team, the suddenly into best friend story, the pregnancy subplot, and this, I feel like this story has run into just about every cliche they could hit.
It pretty much all depends on what happens next, whether the tropes are averted or played straight.
Is that a bad thing?
No.
