Those too, in fact both of those games (EarthBound & Kirby 3) actually feature blood, despite being rated “E” by the ESRB originally.
(Or K-A “Kid-to-Adult,” which is the same rating back then basically.)
“EarthBound” got rerated “T” though, I guess ‘cause the ESRB became aware of it’s blood-stained bosses, suggestive moments, and use of the minor-swear “crap.” Aaaand of course Giygas whom is probably the creepiest villain in any Nintendo game.

If people in their 20s & 30s enjoy Pokémon, and such, people can enjoy other “kid/family” games too.
Not to mention, even kid-friendly games have subtle nightmare-fuel that are better then some M-rated games.
Redead screams still kinda haunt me.
Being made for kids is irrelevant. Both are good because they’re fun and interesting. i.e., TT LEGO games.
Personally I believe that splatoon’s success, much like my little pony’s is because they are kid things rather than in spite of it.
Indeed, especially considering how popular those gritty violent FPS games are. Though, some people are getting tired of ’em so Splatoon was a nice breath of fresh air.
Well it certainly shocked fans of shooting games when it won the “Best Shooter” and “Best Multiplayer” categories at the 2015 Game Awards (Splatoon beat out Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Destiny, and Halo 5).

The game was getting quite popular even before it was released. It was a huge hit at E3 too.

killer7 was far from receiving GOTY, and I still call it my best game ever to this day. Obviously, everypony has their own vision. Yahtzee’s is Fantasy World Dizzy… And that’s the only one I’m aware of coming from another. lol
well, it was one of the most popular games in the demo section, everyone who played it loved it.
That said, the art style’s unique, the mechanics look like a riot, and it’s the first new “core” IP we’ve gotten from Nintendo in over a decade. So am I pumped? Hell yeah I’m pumped.
Nintendo’s policy is “Fuck the police”. X3

Sony’s I’m still unclear on ’cause all I play on it is Square-Enix games. <.<

No, just curious about the origin. The squid heads look like they’re based off of the inklings, but the game was announced only a few days, so it’s surprising to have so many props so quickly.
Unless Nintendo itself made that gif, which wouldn’t surprise.
