I know it’s been a while since this was first published, but damn. I really wish in this thing that Rarity would talk to Spike already, tell him in no uncertain terms that him and her ain’t happening, watch him cry a river, and then have her watch as Applejack comes in, pick up the broken pieces of Spike’s shattered heart, and in her own way shows Spike that there was at least least one girl that was gaga over him but stayed quiet because she knew that Spike was blinded by white all the time.
 
And then we watch Rarity get jealous at Applejack and Spike, because she’s the type that wants something (or someone–in this case Spike) that she no longer has a chance at getting. And that Spike’s with someone else, despite Rarity herself saying that it wouldn’t work out.
 
Seriously, I could really see that happening. Rarity doesn’t want Spike, but at the same time doesn’t want Spike to go with someone else. Kinda of a catch-22 ain’t it?
