To be fair, no one aside from Celestia and Luna knew about him, so it’s not like she knew what to check for.
I guess she didn’t really check, she must have assumed that since there wasn’t any chaos, nobody escaped (Nightmare Moon and Discord sure weren’t as quiet as Tirek once they were free)
