Well, why not? She’s swooned over stallions who aren’t unicorns, and why would she not like a pony just because they didn’t have a horn? I doubt she would have liked Blueblood and Trenderhoof and Fancy Pants any less if they were earth ponies or pegasi. And she’s enthusiastic about Canterlot because it’s a super posh city.

One culture will take over or marginalize the other. I have no qualms about miscegenation except when it is perversely promoted for one group and no others. I don’t think it is now, but the idea of it being so strikes me as having sinister intent.
 
Unless some grand scale coexistence experiment is done I will err on the side of caution.

How does that make any sense? Am I, a New Zealander of Scots-Irish descent part of a race of New Zealanders that are also of Scots-Irish descent, or are we a Pakehá race, or part of the “white” race?
 
All this talk about race reminds me of a skit from Da Ali G Show (the British one, not that fucking awful american one) where Ali G was offended that “Africa” wasn’t represented at the United Nations, to which the ambassador replied that Africa is represented, but through multiple nations. Ali G couldn’t wrap his head round that, since he believed that there was only an “African” nation, not nations in Africa.
 
Same thing here: people use the word “race”, but fail to delineate the definitions of each “race”, or use sweeping generalisations to catagorise whole peoples whom have nothing to do with each other into broad catagories based upon a few visible factors (skin colour, language, origin, et cetera).

I don’t care one way or the other. I find the idea of “Racial Extinction” via intermarriage laughable. Race and ethnicity has no inherent worth as far as I’m concerned, only humanity. The only thing worth preserving is the culture, and to hell with your skin color. As long as humanity is perserved, I care not if we’re all replaced by coffe-colored raceless grandchildren.

Like if a large amount of media showed hispanics marrying outside their race and glorified it. I would argue that is weird at the very least.

I don’t know what that means but I’ll give it a shot.
 
Basically, we’re all animals. Smarter than the average bear, but still animals. We’re often called “social creatures”, this is true. Like wolves and apes, we work in groups. I remember once seeing a documentary which included a group of apes killing another group of apes. But why, when they’re all apes? Because those apes weren’t us apes. They were a different group. Our group is the only group we care about. This “We like our own lot” mentality has manifested itself in many ways such as tribes, kingdoms, race, nations and even street gangs.  
Oh damn I forgot what I was meant to be talking about. I was gonna say something about genetics to properly explain why a white guy would be attracted to a white girl more than a black one, but I don’t have the right words. Go google “why do we like our own race” or something.
