I think Poptard is referring to the people who insist on coming into Flashlight pics to complain, not you personally. I mean, wanting to complain about the artwork or characterization is fine, not agreeing with some aspects (e.g. “I think Discord would work better in this pic”) is alright, but coming just to complain about how lame Flash is or how dumb the ship is isn’t.

I have to agree with Xas. You don’t like Flash. That’s fine. I can easily see how people are irritated (e.g. he isn’t very fleshed out beyond nice guy, he’s only there for Twi to develop a brief crush and so on.) But the way you’re putting it makes it sound like you’re suggesting anyone who does like Flash is being stupid.

I can get a used 2012 Camaro for around 17k, probably down to 15k with some haggling. If I’ve had a part-time job during the school year, working minimum wage for $7 an hour for 24 hours a week, and land a summer job for $8 an hour for 40 hours a week for 12 weeks, and save most of what I earn (easy to do if you’re living with your parents in high-school), I can easily earn enough for that after 2.5 years. In fact, I’ve seen that happen with an averagely-wealthy classmate who scored a Porsche at the end of junior year. Flash is a senior, so he’s had the time. All you need is patience and determination,

Generic highschool crush, good look, rich parents, drive a sport car, dated most popular girl in school before movie started, already have lot of friends and play in a rock band with them. Created just for Twilight to have a crush. No troubled backstory, no personality other than being nice guy. He is basically a Ken doll. In Shrek this guy would be a Prince Charming without the “asshole” part in it.
 
And Twilight is a goddamn princess and wise teacher of CMC. I can only imagine types like Starswirl, Discord or Celestia to be her love interest. Or even if you dont like them there is a prince of Gryphon Empire, prince of Dragon empire, prince of Saddle Arabia. Really isnt there a lot more options for goddamn main heroine? Shipping BonBon with Flash is cruel already not to mention the mane6 character
