@Rod Hungwell
As long as no one pesters you about it or demands special treatment, I don’t really see the problem with all those things.
Problem here is defying canon in ways even the most fantastical fic authors would have their monocles pop out and expecting people to not say “wait, Big Mac is a f2m lesbian what?”. People are going to have their own headcanons, and when you make yours public people are going to disagree no matter what.
Hell, people still get in angry word fights over how much of Boast Busters’ Trixie was just an act; it’s not going to be surprising people get touchy when you change the sex of their husbando.
@ein-kerl
I’m down with some aspects of feminism and I have alot of gay / bisexual friends on another site. They’re kind of annoying but great people.
I just draw the line at all this “I identify as a blue space alien from planet Nacho Farts! Also I’m not really a guy even though I clearly have the D!” crap because it has no basis in reality. If that makes me a bigot I really don’t care because I’m not exactly eager to make friends with those kinds of people anyways.
How the hell are we transphobic, mogiiphobic, fat shamers for “disliking something”? I had some respect for the tumblr but now is all feminist shit, just …. Just…. Wtf.
@Frogster
Yeah, apparently us downvoting their pictures makes us transphobic and homophobic.
Which is especially funny considering quality stuff involving those subjects, like Ask Glitter Shell and anything by Braeburned tends to score rather highly. If I didn’t know better, I’d think people might just be downvoting these pictures because they are laughably low quality and silly.
@Tenafly Viper
That’d be too much to ask. For people who hate this site so much, they sure can’t help but scour it regularly to see what we’re saying and doing.
@Rod Hungwell @ein-kerl
For the record, you’re both right. Rod’s comment was bigoted as shit, but if Tumblr’s (or anyone for that matter) is going to judge this site (or any site) in it’s entirety for a comment made by one person, well, they are in the wrong.
in the meantime, tag filtered. all those headcanons are just random bullshit over a screencap.
That, and the Diverse MLP Canon guys are kinda being dicks about it.

A disgrace that does more damage to their own ‘agenda’ just by association.

Good.
I’m not sure but I don’t think this is feminist, it’s pro-trans and anti-cis, so by calling them feminist you may be insulting them.
The same way not applauding messages of “men are filth” makes you an misogynist.

It isn’t just people on tumblr who think that your statement is bigoted as shit.
Also, why do you think what you say is more important than what the tumblr blogosphere says?
@ein-kerl
>foolish
And facilitating asinine fantasies isn’t?
It’s really for the best that nobody cares what Tumblr thinks and acting like their thoughts about us are actually important is just what they want.
That doesn’t make him wrong, you know.
You are a god among man.
Oh god the horror, they have to reevaluate their ideas, it’s-
the WORST! POSSIBLE! THING!
