Scootaloo had a growth spurt. Keep in mind this picture happened before we were told Scootaloo would never be able to fly. Maybe she has implants. ;p

Dashie has only been sentenced to prison for 6 months. So Scootaloo is still a kid here. She went to some camp for accelerated training/practice. Like the Wonderbolt’s training ground, but even crazier!

Oh no, the Elements of Harmony are very important, and Rainbow Dash could never lose her Element. But they would have to keep some hoof cuffs and wing chains on her if she had to go outside of prison to use the Loyalty Element to defeat a villain. It’s improtant to remember her friendship is still just as strong as ever. So, the elements are very powerful!

Rainbow is a good prisoner; she is not dangerous to Scootaloo. But that’s why the guard is there in case she tries to do anything crazy.

Heh. 8 years, that’s pretty insane. But yeah, I am still hanging around here!

I have a few questions. Why did she get arrested? Why did Scootaloo suddenly learn to fly? How come Scootaloo hasn’t aged throughout the time Rainbow Dash was in jail? I mean, Scootaloo learning to fly would take years of practice. Do her friends know she went to jail? Why would an Element of Harmony go the jail? Wouldn’t that count as disharmony, Thus her being removed or being temporarily removed? How come they’re letting a child near a prisoner? I hope you can answer me. I realize this was,like, 8 years ago. So it’s perfectly fine if you don’t answer, But I just wanted to ask just in case.

I don’t understand these pics. They seem way too cruel.

Seems like the guards take good care of her in prison so it is not really Dashabuse. It is merely a coincidence that Dash happened to be in prison when scoots learned how to fly

well the whole imprisonment thing looks like his fetish he’s commissioned quite a lot well over 10 (i quit counting after that) but I agree its the same concept as all the other rd loses her wings/ twilight loses her horn. not only is it a overused trope but people often use it badly and in these pictures with little to no story behind them makes it even worse. why is a element of harmony in jail? why would they allow a kid who has no relation to a prisoner that close to her? why are her wings always bound? and for this picture my biggest issue is what is the unicorn using his magic on? I guess I’m just over analyzing a fetish picture though…

that makes sense :) it really is my fault because I am not really creative when it comes to reasons why she was sentenced… people keep asking me but i don’t have a formalized response… usually i just say she stole something

It’s an interesting concept, but there needs to be a reason for the imprisonment. I realize artists can set up whatever situation floats their respective boats, but throwing Dash in an orange jumpsuit and wing restraints without a charge, a trial, or even an excuse is a heinous miscarriage of justice.
 
And yes, I’m aware I’m overanalyzing pastel horse fanart.

I think both concepts are my very favorite things (that is why I paid for this pic)  
if you think about it, the concept is quite fascinating. RD is defined by a love for speed and freedom so when you take both away in a legal prison sentence there is nothing to help her and the adventurous and free-flying pony has to be replaced by something else
