Not letting someone be an insensitive prick IS censorship. They have the right to say/draw/write about anything they desire. It is an inalienable right of all people. Sadly this right is trounced upon in many places but not all.
 
Just as you have the right to criticize them for what they say/draw/or write. You do not however have the right to stop or inhibit their rights.
 
Yes, this is coming from a woman, a woman that supports the freedom of speech and ideals. Whether I agree with such speech or ideals does not matter.

I’ll agree with the picture that they aren’t ‘stylish’ since they are a rather crude type of joke. Also the main problem with a lot of rape jokes is that they don’t have any creativity and suffer from people thinking the comment, “get raped” is a joke. It’s not. It’s the same as saying, “get punched in the face.”
 
Like George Carlin said about rape jokes, and just jokes in general, there needs to be an exaggeration to it. Like an over the top image of Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd.

In their saner moods SJWs will post “scientific studies” claiming that rape jokes make men more likely to rape.  
Of course, if you actually read them, the researchers specifically disclaim that conclusion, but blogs and tumblr reposts don’t usually catch nuances like that.

Um, sweetie? Rape has decreased by over 80% in the US since 1979. That’s in spite of the increase in the willingness of victims to report it, and an increase of the number of rapes reported prior to their discovery.
 
It would be nice if, instead of spreading false information, maybe some of these people tried raising awareness about the rape problems in South Africa and Sweden.

How can you get a message so wrong? You honestly read my reply and thought “oh this guy wants rape victims to be afraid of their situation” when I literally said “there is no shame in being a victim”?. If I need to repeat it, I will}: There is a huge fucking difference between someone laughing about his misfortune to cope with it and someone else treating it as something funny. I’m against the latter, I haven’t said fuck-anything about the former except that victims who don’t mind rape jokes should still consider the sensitivity of those who do.
 
I want people to not put up with the bullshit that rape jokes are ok just because they are “funny”. I want them to not give any leverage to rapists and to people who, although they would never rape someone, they would treat the concept of rape in such an insensitive manner. If there is any danger to victim’s process of healing, is that, rather than whatever thing you managed to read out of what I said.
 
And Pinkie sung that song to dissipate her friends’ irrational fears. Rape is definitely not a irrational fear.

I believe a certain pink pony has said it best. “Giggle at the ghostie.” If you laugh at something, That’s how many, many many people heal and deal with problems, rather than cowering in a corner in fear of it forever.
 
You want people, most people who’ve been through a traumatic event, to not heal, and to instead be afraid of every single rapist on the planet, and even go so far as to try and find anti rape measures against people who aren’t basically fucked up in the head enough to rape someone; in other words normal people and 80-90% of the population of the entire fucking planet.

I’d really like you to show me those rape victims who are totally a-ok with rape jokes, so we could all chit-chat about how the rest of the victims should suck it up because we, who are unfazed by this sort of jokes, are whose freedom and commodity should really be taken into account.
 
I’m not sugarcoating things and pretending what I’m saying isn’t a form of censorship, but nobody is telling you to not do what you want in your private corner, it’s just that those private corners usually aren’t as private as you claim.
 
Death poverty and injustice are both concepts that are serious enough to be taken that way, and ingrained enough in everyone’s life that jokes about it don’t make any difference between different people (on the other hand, you could always try joking about death to the survivor of some massacre and see what happens). and there is a big difference between being a victim of saids things and laughing about it, and someone who hasn’t laughing about it, or even making fun of it.
 
And you do understand that Derpibooru=/=real life? There is no tagging or filter system in it.

You really don’t get it. Not every rape victim is exactly the same, and not every one advocates for your pro-censorship agenda. It does count as censorship because you’re saying that we shouldn’t be able to make rape jokes in our own private little corner.
 
Humor is a coping mechanism. We make jokes about death, poverty and injustice because it is better to laugh than to cry about them. And yet these subjects no less severe. People still take death seriously even if someone makes an innocent crack about it.
 
But as you say, the jokes can be a nasty reminder, so guess what? You see that [rape(1356+] tag up their? There’s an option to hide any image with that tag. Boom! Problem solved. Now you don’t have to come in contact with anything that reminds you of rape.

It’s not the joke that’s traumatic, it’s the event itself, and rape jokes are basically a reminder of it. Not tolerating rape jokes is not equal to treating victims as less-than-human, because there is no shame in being a victim. Rape jokes are not something they cannot live with, they are something that they shouldn’t have to bother with in the first place. If anything treating someone’s traumatic events as a joke is more dehumanizing than “babyproofing”
 
And do not talk to me about respect when your idea of pro-censorship is “not letting me be an insensitive prick”
