Either they really believe that they won’t get caught or they just don’t care. For a short while they get to say, ‘Hey, look at me! I have talent!’ even though they don’t. It’s just kinda sad when you think about it. They have no other way to feel good about themselves.

I find it ironic when art-thieves do that. I remember somebody who stole one of my pics didn’t even respond to somebody going, “You stole this from Beau-Skunk!” then shortly after that responded to somebody else who was complimenting my their drawing going “thanks.” lol (Best of all, said person even copied my image description almost word-for-word.) I reported said art thief, and said image was deleted off their DA page.
 
Why do people on DA do that so much? What satisfaction is there in claiming you drew something you didn’t? (And why do they assume they’ll never be caught when they always are?) It’s especially funny when you see DA galleries with inconsistent art styles.

Oh no! Don’t infect me, I have so much to live for! I still need to praise Volcanos the Magma-Lord today! I’m unfortunately fresh out of virgins to sacrifice, too, though. I used my last one yesterday. :(
 
The only times I’ve ever been banned from anyone’s art page like that is when I called them out for blatantly stealing someone else’s art or not giving the original artist credit. But what can you do, right?

Oh well, not the first time somebody banned me from their DA page for no real reason… (Starting to get used to it.) Two Sonic fans banned me from their DA pages before just for being a fan of the Archie Sonic series, (which they hate) and just ‘cause I corrected them on something false they said about said series…  
Note to self, don’t debate with anyone on DA…

Indeed, just look at this crap that happened to me recently. (I was standing up for a friend of mine CartoonKing1 BTW who he was insulting for no reason. I must add, he banned BOTH of us from his DA page right after insulting us, and such, the coward…)  
He sure doesn’t act “agnostic” to me…
 
…Also, yeesh, did a christian eat his dog? His entire DA page is basically dedicated to his anti-religious/anti-christianity ideals.  
He’s like the atheistic version of a self-righteous religious-nut who hates everyone else for not believing in the same things they do…

…Though, I will admit that British woman being treated so horribly for it, is pretty bad, regardless how you feel about incest. Especially, being threatened for it, that’s messed-up.

Ironically, both alot of religious, AND atheistic people who claim to understand the Bible 100% don’t understand it at all, if you ask me.  
(But let’s not start a religious debate please… Those always get ugly on this site.)

Oh god, the person saying “back in the day when incest was punished” and saying you’ll go to hell for it. Does he know how much incest there is in the bible? Sometimes I feel like atheists are the only ones that read the bible.

The disgust people have towards incest is more of a social stigma than anything else.
 
Time to broach the problems that people have with it.
 
“Having sex with a sibling and having a child with them will result in deformed children.” This is not always true. Yes, they’re is a higher percentage of having a deformed child, but only 2% higher than the norm. In any case, if you do not want people having deformed children, I suppose you should stop older people from having children as well. Also, many incestuous relationships often do not have children between themselves and often adopt or otherwise have artificial insemination done.
 
“It’s wrong to have sex with your sibling.” When most people think this they believe it is pedophilia or rape. Which, of course, is definitely wrong. But if you take two consenting adults that have the right mind-set and know what they are doing, is that wrong? Say they have protection, so they do not have a chance of becoming pregnant.
 
“It’s not natural.” Well, in fact, it is. Just because you believe something is wrong doesn’t mean it is unnatural. Animals have children between siblings all the time, but I’m sure you do not want to be compared to something like that.
 
Also, do not think your gene pool is clean of incest. You wouldn’t be here without a bit of it.
 
Here’s an example. A young woman in the UK was caught having sex with her brother. They were both consenting adults at the time, although they did blame one another, alcohol, desperation and so on. The brother was twenty-one and the sister eighteen.
 
However, the young woman is being harassed. Because of her acts, she was forced to leave her home. People have threatened her with physical harm. Is that really an okay thing to do?
 
Regardless, these were just my thoughts and facts.

I think it makes sense. We don’t prevent other people who are prone to genetic defects from having children, and incestual attraction only arises very rarely, due to various effects having evolved to keep it from happening, so it’s hardly a threat to the gene pool.
