He did sound pretty different and not in the “I DIDN’T PUT THOSE IN MY BAG” sort of way.
I guess it runs in their family.
I liked him, and plus he was voiced by vetran voice actor Ian James Corlett. (Who’s voiced Knuckles in SU, and Megaman before.)
I wonder if his daughter Clair (yes, Sweetie Belle’s voice) convinced him to audition for the show.
As I’ve said, in my opinion.
There were some enjoyable moments, but the entire premise was incredibly flawed.
If Granny Smith was the only pony that was buying the tonic, ok. But AJ willingly allowed other ponies to waste their money on a product she knew was bullshit just so Granny could enjoy the power of placebo. Nobody gets their money back in the end.
That just doesn’t seem like something AJ would do, ever, and it breaks the episode for me.
That episode was by far not the worst of this season.
I actually enjoyed it. {Though I would have preferred the FlimFlam brothers be the ones learning the lesson, since they weren’t originally conmen.”

I don’t know, I liked Silver Shill, and enjoyed the ep’ he was from.
Also, he was voiced by Ian James Corlett.
Honestly not too surprising. He showed essentially no character and had barely any role in the episode. Plus, and this is just my opinion, he was in the worst episode of the season.
