I’ve never owned an Hoenn game, but I’d suspect that they are basically going to be full remakes with the X and Y engine, including mega evos (probably only the Lati’s to avoid compatability issues) and friend safari and the like. There maybe an extended post game and a new spin on certain mechanics, but I don’t know if contests and such will make a return, although it is likely.
