You’re forgetting Shao Khan also takes souls as well. Tirek fits as Khan because they’re both powerhouses. Sombra is more of the sorcerer type like Shang Tsung, add that his smoke form and that he turned that smoke into black crystals fits in more with Shang Tsung’s shape-shifting ability.
Really, it should be the other way around:
Tirek sucks magic out of users (Much like Shang Tsung)
Sombra being a ruler of a kingdom (Much like Shao Khan with Outworld)
Never happening.
That. would. be. epic.
If there was a pic with Twilight With Simon’s glasses near the end I’d pop that, but sadly…
That battle was my favorite scene in MLP:FiM to date
