Nah, everypony heard her say it. A kid that age basically helpign give the pep talk? I’m sure she was thrilled.
Also, very impressive growth for Dash on that account too. Considering her competitiveness in Fall Weather Friends, that’s a good lesson that she seems to have internalized.

It’s either you perform magnificently and win as expected out of you or you bring your sponsor(s) and/or your country to shame and maybe the boot.
Not really. An underdog doing a lot better than expected tends to get remembered more fondly than an obvious favorite to win, winning.
But reality is far different and harsher in the world of professional sports.
