Why didn’t he bring the keys?
Mmm… this will do:
(Are you still there, server? It’s me, Margaret.)
She “moves” it from a distance with magic she doesn’t rub her horse face in it.
She moves the freaking sun. I think burns are to her like the cold is to Elsa.
It’s still interesting stuff that even if not official canon, can supplement headcanon.
And it’s alot better than having nothing, and it’s something that simply happens with no explanation.
According to Faust, Celestia told spike how to teleport letters with his fire and he is actually casting a spell when he does it.
But I’m not sure how cannon it is since she mentioned Celestia being Spike’s adoptive mother in the same post (something that is still up in the air)
I would actually like them to explain canonicaly how Spike can teleport letters.
You stop that right now.
You know people don’t like when you point out actual, valid examples of something that goes against an age-old joke, simply because it forces them to use their brains for once.
But seriously, why do people constantly forget that scrolls (and a piece of paper once) are the only things he ever teleported while everything else has always burned normally?
By now its much more plausible that the teleportation thing is because of a spell Twilight/ Celestia casts on the paper in the library so that it responds like that to Spike’s fire.
*official
I think its officinal now the little guy can somehow alter the power of his fire at will.
He probably just had to learn that he could melt locks in the first place.
He probably only knew how to do his teleport fire breath first.
He’s just a few steps away from selling Pinkie’s Sugar on the streets and arrowing officers to death.
And he didn’t destroy the door that the lock is attached to. In fact wait a minute.. That lock is just attached to a metal ring, I don’t think that lock is actually securing anything!
