Note that I originally had thought their mark to be a cage, but from this clear shot from the iTunes version http://imgur.com/dxGTl6V I’m convinced it’s an hourglass - still well within line for the reference.

Yeah, I think an hourglass would be more interesting.
No, that was my first thought originally (that it was a cage), but when I checked the itunes version (considered the cleanest HD source), there’s one specific shots that makes it more likely the hourglass than the cage. (The hourglass still fits the theme for the Luteces, of course).

Gettin’ tired of people thinking Bioshock Infinite is a good game.
