It’s kind of separate. Emoticons are banned on karachan in order to weed out cancer and xD is one of those allowed. It’s often used with inba, though, hence it’s in the gif.
“xD” is just an emoticon in here. Commonly associated with immature children or chan-like imageboard users (which are often same people), but can also be used ironically.
Is the xD part of it or does it just mean a sort of text emoticon?
