It’s a defense mechanism of seeking for the strong to help fight wild life and predators, while seeing the weaks as useless or in the way, those outdated instincts (only see strengths but brains or hearts) are the source of ignorance of course, we actually can’t conclude people too fast by the first impression.

Always interesting to me how the “strong” choose to pick on the “weak” and it make them feel like they’ve done something to be proud of.
 
There was a time I REALLY disliked most bullies, Now I just feel rather sorry for them. They can’t be friend, so they have to make friends though displays of power and aggression.
