I think BP has some good arguments here. You have to study hard to learn spells, you can’t just use a spell to learn spells. That one is pretty clear.  
So even magic can’t create information and knowledge out of nowhere. This includes the knowledge of how to be a male.  
This argument is pretty solid..

If spells can give you an unknown knowledge, why can’t she just use a spell and copy all of the information from a book into her or someone else’s memory. Study time spared.

Pretty sure that a genderbend spell cast by a powerful magical prodigy and alicorn Princess would transmute not only her physical form, but mental/psychological aspects as well. So as long as this spell lasts, she would for all intents and purposes be a stallion.
 
If such a relationship would work long term is when it gets difficult because it would require either Twilight permanently remaining a stallion or Flash being ok with a partner who swaps genders.

I never said anything about the artist. I just find the idea of treating a pretender like they’re the real thing, when it’s known they’re not the real thing, to be absolutely absurd and stupid. Unless you’re in a pretending game, you don’t do that cuz it can easily backfire in real life. Not the smartest of choices.
 
Twilight as a stallion. Do you a) treat her like she’s someone else or b) don’t treat her any differently than before?
 
If part of something is fake, the whole thing is fake. Fakeness is a KILL JOY. Any Dusk x Flash moments are ruined, because everyone is in on the fact that it’s really a self-aware Twilight, so it’s still a Twilight x Flash thing, just different.
