Remind me to link a cool paper I found on this. The night side would actually be warmer than Antarctica gets in the winter, and the day side wouldn’t be that much hotter than death valley. Surprisingly hospitable. Atmosphere would do a good job circulating heat.

Pretty much, yeah. AJ was never there to befriend Twilight/save her from falling to her death so Twi dies and Nightmare Moon conquers everything, life stinks, etc.
I haven’t seen any of the shrek movies after the second one. But I get what you’re saying, she gets thrown into an alternate timeline where she was never born/was stillborn/was miscarried, and it’s all gone to shit

I was thinking something more like that one Shrek movie where everyone’s favorite gross ogre makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin that costs Shrek ‘just one day’. That being the day he was born, which changes the entire universe around him.
Isn’t that a paradox, without applejack granny wouldn’t have died, and the deal would’ve never been made, which means applejack would be alive, and granny would die, and the deal would be made-ERROR ERROR ERROR
