Why would people hate Nyx?
It’s typically fine as long as the original artist is tagged, unless said artist asks for it’s removal it believe.

As long as they got permission to “trace,” and credit the original artist, then it should be ok… Some have actually traced my drawings before, (very badly) and claim them as their own art, as well. One person even copied my pic discription word-for-word on one on DA. (But they were dealt with by the admins.)
“a significant and vocal portion of the fandom hates Nyx” (I certainly don’t) would be more accurate.
And yes, this is very cute.
