Spike isn’t an anthropomorph. His natural stance is supposed to be quadrupedal, as evident by earlier Spike figures, and how Spike’s tail is almost always bent in an unnatural fashion. :j

That’s actually a pretty cool concept, with every sin giving him a different adult form.  
His “Spike the Knight” form would most likely be Pride.

If Spike could transform from the other deadly sins as well, I think he would have done Lust and Gluttony by now.
 
Although, I have been wanting to write a ’Lust” Spike fic; thanks for reminding me.

Well it all really depends on how his emotions effect his growth. It could be that living with Ponies has stunted his growth or Twilight’s magic has. Not only that, he could give into any other emotion, not just “Greed”, such as “Lust”, “Envy”, “Gluttony”, “Sloth”, “Pride”, or “Wrath”. Each giving a different form to Spike. I would think a “Lust” Spike would make Molestia look like a every day Milf in comparison, and just to make things interesting, lets say Twilight managed to craft something close to a “Devil Fruit” from One Piece, and it turned out to be the “Hana Hana no Mi Fruit”. Suddenly a Lust Spike who can spawn claws anywhere he wanted.

Bet money Spike’s true form is Spike the Knight.

This is precisely what makes it impossible to know how Spike will look like once he grows. Both times he grew unnaturally, and both times he looked different. Since there’s no way to know whether one of these forms is the real one, or if neither of them is, then that leaves the door open for the show to have him look however they want in the future.

Well, greed is natural for dragons.  
But then there’s the Dragon Quest with naturally raised teenage dragons and they’re still about Spike’s size.

Technically speaking, neither adult form was natural. One was through magic growth, the other was through accelerated greed growth.

It is strange how his adult design varied so much. Perhaps we could conclude that dragons have two different paths to reaching adulthood? One by maturing normally and the other through greed?
