The line of young mares watching the Dodge Junction float in comic10 was the one which really got me thinking that that artists were just having way too much fun drawing pony manes. BM too, in fact.
Yeah, Price’s style is really excellent for comic series.
Biggest offenders are Celestia, Luna, Fluttershy, and Applejack.
Really Spike has nothing to complain about, even seems to be enjoying himself. As he should - he gets to hug Princess Luna and that gorgeous flowing mane and frankly is one jammy little dragon.
(By the way, does anyone else find Price’s inking on pony manes to be really satisfyingly brushable-looking? Especially the backs of ponies’ heads in crowd scenes when they’re close to the viewer.)

They all seem much more aware of how much crap they get into and the sort of world they inhabit in the comics in general to me.
When Andy Price felt she needed to be so.
Wait..since when did Applejack become the Genre Savvy one?
Next generation hasbro should take the final step and turning the franchise into “my big cats” once and for all.
I didn’t say he was getting respect, I said he was getting ‘addressed.’ If they are going to keep Spike out of the adventure, I at least want them to acknowledge him, instead of just pretending he doesn’t exist.

Well, one, it’s Luna. Two, Andy is a huge Luna fan. Three, the FiM universe hates Spike put and simple.
I didn’t know about the Luna part when I made my comment.

The fact that he’s staying with Luna this time doesn’t mean things are any different.
Nah, that’s just how men are treated. If any of them try to get up the social latter, they’re branded criminals.
And then Luna treats him like his servant by ordering him to bring her coffee… Looks like hypocrisy for me.
I still say he’s got the better deal. He gets to hang out and get up to shenanigans with LUNA! The best kind of Shenanigan Partner-In-Crime.
So here is the plan, we’ll take my dragon who’s principal power is to act as a two way instant long distance communication system and use him as a runner so we’ll have a one way delayed message system…

Let’s not bring that up again….I should also wonder why Twilight’s the only one to get Spike a gift on his birthday.

…Actually why were only the other main six at her birthday? Why weren’t her parents, who live in Canterlot? Or her big brother…Or Cadance…Or Celestia…
OH COME ON, WRITERS! You can have other characters besides the main six do stuff.
At the very least they address him. They don’t pull a ‘Sweet and Elite’ moment where Spike isn’t invited to Twilight’s birthday with no explanation.
