“I… I think I love you, Maud…”

I thought they got the point across that she was more protective of Pinkie than anything else. It might just be me, but she looks like she’s the tired wise character who watches over her weaker sister…except she has a life.

Once upon a time it existed a rockfarm.  
It was owned by a married couple, Cloudy Quartz and Igneous Rock.  
They lived a hard life, and yet they loved each others. But they had a big problem…  
They couldn’t get any children.  
So one day, Igneous Rock decided to use the most secret earthpony magics of them all…  
…how to create golems…  
Since creating golems is pretty hard and it’s so easy to fail, they decided to try creating 4 of them.  
The first one was made of cold hard stone. They named her Maud.  
Her first two sisters, Marble and Limestone, were made of softer rocks.  
And the last sister was made of an old rubber chicken and named Pinkie.
