Twilight walked with TOM on her back, and that rock was at least 1.5 ton heavy considering how much bigger it was than Twilight and Rarity. Twilight is not a pushover, even without her magic.

TS: Earth pony magic is expressed mainly in physical strength. Unicorn magic is expressed mainly in spell casting. If you want to use the kind of strength you’re used to while you’re stuck in my body, you’ll have to learn to use your horn.

TS: Pony type has no bearing on what instincts you have. Everypony has the same set. It’s how Rarity was able to fly with the butterfly wing spell. She was just drawing on her pegasus instincts for it. You have the same spell casting instincts I do, they’re just largely unused due to you not having access to the required equipment for most of them before now.
