Description
Have an opening of Lu Bu and Red Hare
Edit: Had a little mistake and trouble with adding inline images. Pardon me~
Canterlot castle’s gate open a pony figure with red coat appears
Lu Bu’s theme plays
Changeling soldier #1:It’s,It’s Lu Bu RUNNNN!!!!!
Changeling soldier #2:Oh shit
Lu Bu killed a changeling by a single hit
Lu Bu:You weakless changelings you prepare to face me as a great challenge
Chrysalis:No time to lose, defeat celestia do not purse lu bu at all cost, everyling march and do not pursue lu bu defeat princess celestia(Lu Bu in Canterlot Wedding battle)
That’s terrible! Most of the pilots aren’t known for their physical prowess.
Heero Yuy and Garrod Ran would put up a good fight. Amuro Ray, Char Aznable and other Newtypes might be able to last quite awhile but be overcome.
On the other hand, Domon Kasshu and Schwarz Bruder would destroy Lu Bu. And let’s not even get into Master Asia.
Where is the Fun in reality?
SEND HIM UP AGAINST THE PILOTS IN DYNASTY WARRIORS GUNDAM!
Unless we’re using the actual superhuman from the game series(who would massacre the knights), historical Lu Bu would get curbstomped:
His armor is worse.
His weaponry is inferior.
And for all his fictional prowess, in history he only fought one duel- against Guo Si, which he won, but he was chased away before he could finish Guo off by Guo’s peons.
Lu Bu would’ve had his hands full taking on roman legionnaires(or at least centurions), and the medieval knights is a massive step up from those.
Of course, you’re going to have to take into account their weapons and fighting style are going to be vastly different.
@SeraphimDawn
Considering a lot of knights were honour before reason types, I imagine they’d at least offer a verbal challenge before it gets that far. Either that, or they’d let loose their arrows first and if Lu Bu lives might consider him a worthy enough opponent to duel properly.
They’re probably going to shower arrows on him. Just like what some Japanese warlord did to take out Benkei, who was armed with a naginata who took out every soldier sent at him.
the way lu bu its portrayed he would be almost an equivalent to a heavy knight in term of phisical strenght but the martial prower of a “martial warrior” from the east…my guess is that he would actually be a heavy challenge…i could se them actually mocking him just before he easily kills one with a single blow then they go al lout on him with lu just smirking like the freak he is and accept the challenge head on
Makes me wonder how well this guy would fair against European knights of the Middle Ages.
Because Lu Bu never employs any super human powers, He is the epitome of mortal strength, So it makes since that he would be an Earth pony.
Lu Bu was often referred to as the Flying General for his prowess in battle. A fierce warrior, and a drifter. Definitely qualities of a Pegasi.
Well they actually did that in DW7 and I think, in Wei’s story mode when Cao Cao questioned them about strength. Chen Gong on the other hand even as an old friend of Cao Cao would die with loyalty than join Cao Cao. If you know how it goes, Cao Cao felt pity for Chen Gong and took great care of his family.
Oh, I hadn’t realised it was coming out soon. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
But I see that Koei opted for yet another “Defiant to the end” death for Lu Bu. And dying standing up too. I rather liked the one from one of the previous ones, the one where he suggests he work with Cao Cao. That’s what he actually did historically, and Cao Cao wasn’t having any of that.
Good news, in the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends, you get to play Lu Bu’s story mode, both historical and hypothetical. His historical route leads to Xia Pi, which is his death route along with Chen Gong.
Spoiler Alert: Watch this if you wanna see the ending of his historical route.
Well, that goes without saying. I mean, the Three Kingdoms drama from awhile back had Lu Bu executed by a ton of archers.
I guess part of me is just weary of his, “I’m Lu Bu and I’m unstoppable!” shtick and would find him being deliberately executed in a humiliating way a change of pace.
Of course, there’s as much chance of that as Koei showing Cao Cao have the Empress strangled or Guan Yu being an asshole.
I’m pretty sure he just had his men kill him, when he started shouting, Besides the games are in their own verse separate from the novel.
@viamont
I kind of wish Koei’d show how miserable his death was someday as opposed to the noble death in battle or defiant promises of revenge they tend to do instead.
Didn’t Cao Cao specifically order him strangled like a woman?
