Rarity’s hair kinda clashes with her skin color. It’s a nice design, and there’s no problem with her being black, but perhaps the hair should be lighter, or her skin? The piercing above the lip is a nice touch, though.

I can’t put my finger on it, but something’s off with Applejack’s nose to me. Lovely color in her eyes, though.
 
Rainbow Dash, I’m having trouble seeing. I don’t know how to say it other than that I don’t see her as someone with a bunch of piercings. But that’s just me.
 
I don’t really like the half shaved look on Flutters. I guess that it does correlate with her pony look, but I still don’t think it works. As with Rarity, perhaps you should lighten Flutter’s hair too? The problem isn’t the skin, it’s just making the hair look better with the skin.
 
Twilight appears to be Indian - I think that ethnicity really works with her. But her face shape doesn’t really work here. I get that you don’t want all of them to be “feminine shaped” as shown by your comments, and that’s okay, but perhaps make her face a little smaller, round it a bit?
 
I love your art style, and after all the shit pulled in the comment section, well, you deserve some honest opinions.

^ This. Very much this. I can understand not liking a particular art style – we all have our preferences – but it’s no excuse to go start flinging out insults because of it. If you ever feel the urge to insult an artist for their art, then pass on. Don’t comment. Don’t do anything. Just go.
 
I’m going to go clean this thread now. I’m a lot more lenient than most, so this will be your last and only warning. You better fucking hope I’m the only one you have to deal with because I doubt the others would be as kind.

Criticism? I think you mean being big babies. Half of you are attempting to pass off childish, whiny comments about how your ponies don’t look like your headcanons as criticism and it’s quite sad. That large critique post I would’ve let slide if it weren’t for the little “0/10 go back to art-kindergarten” at the end. Criticism is not a free-pass to be a fucking asshole.

My bf and I head canon rarity as a bit darker and more longer luxious hair, and same with fluttershy, not as reddish and with longer hair and AJ as darker like a nice deep tan, but really lovely and nice!

I personally don’t agree with all of these, seeing as I have some of my own personal headcanon looks for each of them, but it’s such a relief to see some other versions of the mane six other than a bunch of skinny white girls. This fandom needs a lot more diversity in it’s humanizations. Good job artist! You’re awesome for this!
