In terms of art, this wonderfully done and I have no qualms beyond Light Shine’s design (commission, so can’t fault the artist). Yet it is strange how having a canon character have a crush on an OC can change the mood.
 
Objectively, we just saw an episode with Rarity having a crush on a new character, so it’s hardly impossible. Yet the fact that two mane characters are having a crush while the OC seems unimpressed/ignorant conveys a certain ego.
 
I’m fine with canon x oc, yet I feel like this setup diminishes Twilight and Rarity as characters, which the worst thing an OC can do.
