It’d be expected, though. Also, when hasn’t this show not been cheap? Reviewers keep on saying high profile episodes (even outside of S03) were short of their expectations.

turtlesponies because very little else satisfies. I attribute the fandom to a saying of FiW’s: It’ll be OK. :)I’m expecting her to show up. It’s the logical next step after Cadance’s and Shining Armor’s wedding storyline, after all.
Actually, what I’d like to see is like what Hanna-Barbara did with the Flintstones and actually show Wilma expecting. We didn’t see Cup Cake’s pregnancy between Seasons 1 & 2; it’d be a bit cheap if baby Skyla showed up out of the blue in Season 5.
Lots of the most popular themes on this board are headcanons or outright non-canon.

Or Princess Skyla’s a toy that will never appear on the show. I mean, how long ago was the toy first released to the stores, and there’s still no sign of her in the series?
Personally, it wouldn’t bother me if she did show up as Princess Cadance and Shining Armor’s filly.
Well, they are gonna have to suck it up and deal with it, because if she’s not Shining and Cadence’s kid, then she’s Twilight’s and Flash’s. Pick your poison, fandom.
It’s not the best drawn pic, (and the background looks copied from the show, not matching the character art) but it’s still cute.
I think some don’t like Skyla.
