It’s a great episode if it seems to support both arguments, don’t you think? :p
They ended the episode on much closer terms than they started it, and they genuinely seem to be enjoying each others company, with the episode ending with them both spending time together.
Sure, it’s not zOMG THEY’RE TOTES GONNA HOOK UP, but there’s still more basis for that pairing than pretty much any other ship you can think of.
“Holds water”? The ship was torpedoed by its own episode. Intentionally.
We do need more Cheerilee episodes though.
No good reason to like it, no good reason to hate it. That’s pure essence of shipping right there.
