You’re again assuming if Hasbro said that they want more new princess toys to sell that she’d be able to stop them. That’s the whole point I’m making here. Everyone knows that McCarthy crushes on Twilight. Hard.
hah! McCarthy was one hundred percent on board with that if her interviews were anything to go by. she absolutely loved the idea of having a wizard of oz story focusing on twilight to let her continue on with her giant princess story without having to actually give any detail or growth to the other characters.
the two are equally in control of things, McCarthy isn’t just blindly doing what hasbro wants, she’s doing what she wants.
Implying that they wouldn’t just use the same mold for all of them with interchangeable hair. Because I could see them doing that.
hasbro would rather give cheap rainbow power colorations than turn a pony into a princess: saves on molds.
Too bad that Hasbro is the one making the decisions if the second EQG movie is any indication.
