Well it does kind of look like he’s expecting something, but stretching will do that for quadrupeds.
Here’s hoping she at least gets mentioned sometime this season!

Me too. It’d be cool if she and Dash competed against each other and managed to patch things up between them, like maybe having one of the Mane Six beat Gilda and prove to them they’re not so “lame” after all.
I’m sure the writer will use these character later in the series ,probably for the equestrian games. Unfortunately they probably gave them names like Bill,Jenny and Marcie or something uncreative like that.
Irma was the first one accompanied with artwork, short and sweet name, has a sensible meaning, and it’s the highest voted one in the polls. That’s the one I’m going with.
Besides, half the fun is letting the fandom name them.
No one’s quick as Gaston

And they’ll tell you whose team they prefer to be on
If you listen closely, you can hear the frantic scribbling.
There will be if the name “Gaston” wins the poll and if said name becomes popular with the fandom.

I swear one of these days, there’s gonna be a picture uploaded on here that has the griffon Gaston meeting the Disney Gaston.
No griffon has bigger wings than Gaston.
