well, i think just beacause just a few people here read the fanfic…this picture has so many downvotes, huh? That’s sad. I thought derpirbooru would look more at the art and not at his or her own head cannon.

One of my favorite “Laws” out there.
That said, I’ve read plenty of fanfics that are better than a lot of books I read… chapter by chapter. As whole stories though, fanfics tend to collapse somewhat under there own weight. This due to the fact that due to the way fics are published, the author feels the need to pull all the stops every chapter, which fucks up pacing.
Humor is incredibly subjective. Some people think me being an asshole on the internet is comedy gold.

I’m legit about not being a big fan of fanfics, but there’s a few hidden gems. Almost always ones that are aware fanfics are about as close to actual literature as 90s comic books are. If you’re aware of Poe, I’d assume you’re aware of Sturgeon’s Law?
