People will say that, no matter what. Even if there were no porn at all in the fandom, they will still claim that we are all these things. Because adult men liking cartoon ponies is “weird”.
 
And who even cares about what haters think? I mean, who are these people anyway? Certainly not the general population. Fans have the tendency to think that their fandom is something great and big, when, in fact, it’s insignificant. Bronies aren’t any different. Barely anybody outside of the fandom cares about us. It’s mostly other nerds and internet people, who don’t really matter. Most people in RL? The people who actually matter? For the most part, they don’t even know about MLP or it’s fandom.
 
Also, people who call bronies “gay” are nearly always people who hate gay people. So, they can just go fuck themselves.

I hear ya, brother/sister.

I have no idea why people are so upset about this. It was, in my opinion, a bad example of who we are. It brings me back to all the horrible things “Certain Bronies” will talk about in those “Pony Thread Simulator” videos.
 
I wish people would actually look at us and go, “Hey look at those people, they seem to think that MLP is pretty cool!” instead of, “Oh look bronies….PEDOPHILES, GAY, BEASTIALITY, ARG A BLARG VDBOGIGO IRGNE (this is people who just get angry at us just to be angry with us), etc.

I love how nobody seems to consider that maybe, just maybe, he shut it down because he is too busy with other things. Like The Lounge, which he finally wants to finish and his fantasy comic, which he just began.
 
I’m not surprised. When he announced his other projects last year, I expected him to stop working on APM. After all, he has only so much time on his hands, which especially the fantasy comic will probably fill quite well.
