Actually in Part 9 in was an FBI sting operation that blew Jason up, not campers. The movie still sucks though. My favorite is still part 3.

As mentioned, they have blown him up in 9 & 10. But most times, it’s like… why the hell would a bunch of campers/students/whatever have a rocket launcher.
Apparently, if you want to stop Jason in his tracks, you just need water. At least according to Freddy Vs Jason. :/
