It can be a little bit stilted at times, but it is getting much better since the beginning of the comic.
 
On the plus side, you really give the characters some life. You’ve taken snips and snails from common backdrop ponies in the show used for gags and plot progression, to full on protagonists with values and hardships.
 
Tails is cute, with his droopy ears and his sarcastically satirical persona. He doesn’t feel out of place working for Fluttershy, and you’ve designed the character well enough to place him in caliber with snips and snails. This completes the trio.
 
Overall, the comic is quite nice, and I look forward to the next chapter. If you keep it up, the writing will sort itself out all on it’s own as you get better at it.

I know… sometimes I feel the dialog is stilted when I look back at it. Unfortunately, I know nobody who could do it for me reliably and quickly.

Tails’ ear pulling is a really cute addition. And gives her some uniqueness without being overdone!

I like seeing Snips and Snails in a closer light, and Tails is fine for an OC.
 
The only thing I might criticize is sometimes the dialogue is a little clunky. Having someone to edit the script would be good.
