I wonder if that’s an oblique reference to the Magnolia Building in Downtown Dallas, Texas? It has the famous Mobil Oil Pegasus on the roof.
Yet, despite how popular the game is. I barely see any crossovers in this fandom.

Ponies appear to be an stronger drug, strong enough to break me away from Maple.
The game however, made it easier for me to swallow my initial dose of Ponies.
I’ve envisioned a Maple-style Pony game since my day one in this fandom. Imagine how lethal of a drug that would’ve been, combining two powerful drugs into one.
Several times. And I have quit several times.
It’s like a drug, I swear.
I would totally download and sign up to play at a whim, if it’s a Pony game.

Huh, that’s actually a very good comparison.
I mean, look at Victoria Island. A mostly medieval setting with a few technological sophistication, and on the same island, you have a modern looking Kerning City.
There are still a lot of modern nations still have rather primitive backwaters. Such as in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and in Africa.
And places that look like medvial settlements, places that look like they came straight out of a Wild West movie and places that look like the New York of 1940 minus the cars while the capitol is some fantasy castle city on a mountain.
And hazmat suits and movie projectors.
Not to mention those arcade machines, electric lights, and hospital equipments.
Well it’s like they weren’t even trying to make it fit within the show. It’s basically an exact cartoon representation of a yacht in our world.
I know,it just feels so mundane in a land of magical ponies…it’s not even some fancy embroided ship ,it obviously looks like one of New York’s crappy tour boats and is probably an intent to reference and connect with the city but… I don’t know I’ll need to see the episode.
Probably not.
Say, I have to wonder, was the pony Statue of Liberty seen in TCMC made in Prance and sent over as a goodwill gift?
