Applejack can lasso an apple with her tail.
 
Twilight can bounce a baby dragon on her tail. Her mane and tail can also spontaneously combust.
 
Rainbow Dash’s will expand whenever she performs a sonic rainboom and continues to expand as is streaks across the sky.
 
Pinkie can hold objects, drill, deflate, inflate and experience extrasensory perception with both her mane and tail.
 
Luna, when in nightmare form, can manipulate objects, cast spells, grab ponies and create pony shadow clones with her mane and tail respectively.
 
And we all wonder about the mane’s and tails of Celestia (whose tail and mane do nothing but flow in the wind) when these 7 can pretty much destroy all rational thought and demote the laws of physics into a theory.

yeah, AJ has laso’d things with her tail in the past. Prehensail tails is apart of my headcanon for Earth Pony powers.

Earth ponies’ tails and hair have always been relatively prehensile. But Pinkie has taken it to a whole ’nother level, and especially in this episode.

It seems that Pinkie’s mane and tail have gotten a serious upgrade this season.

Hiyashida!?  

Yet another reason Equestria needs it’s own version of the SCP Foundation!

I swear, she’s getting close to becoming an Alicorn, and that’s really scary. XP
