She’s pretty much the same.
The fact that Twilight and Firefly have the same coat and eye color doesn’t sit so well with me either (though Firefly’s was actually a few shades darker than Twilight’s).
Ok, you got me there…though in my own defense, I’d still have issues with the amount of pinks.
If these had been the designs and colours used for the Mane 6 in FiM, Ebalosus, you wouldn’t have known any different. You can only comment saying that it looks weird because it’s not what was used in the series.
It’s like saying that it would be weird if you had been given a different name at birth; it’s only weird because that’s not what happened. :)
Posey was an earth as far as I knew.
I mean, her old generation counterpart is still called Applejack.

Applejack is not Applejack without the hat. THE HAT IS EVERYTHING.
Also Rarity still looks classy as fuck.
