Description
Basically, my way of helping people get those tags right.
The “semi-grimdark” and “anything else” spoiler images were made by me using this template. All other spoilers are official spoiler images.
The Derpy image I used, by GingerFoxy, can be found here; Rainbow Dash in space, by Yalcahoon, can be found here; and ModeratelyDeviant’s image of Celestia for “fire in space” can be found here. The Pinkie Pie vectors used were verappp’s Pinkamena and Kyrospawn’s Happy Pinkie.
Anyway, I hope you like it!

But hey, isn’t “dark” a “d” word? :P
This pic should be featured somehow, or linked in the posting guidelines.
Just plain “dark” is not a rating tag. As I understand it, it is used for images that are dark in the colour sense, not the theme sense. Thus, it’s just treated like any other tag - you can apply it wherever it fits regardless of rating.
I thought that dark was used for low lighting intensity. Might be wrong but I have seen images (>>483352, >>480378, etc) that use it that way.
