Yes. Scar slew his own brother. Mufasa who fell risking his own life for his son, proving a real papa.
Well, both scenes are sad. But in that scene on the right, Celestia’s still alive. And I don’t know why she survived that fatal blast of Nightmare Moon. But in the scene on the left, Mufasa didn’t survive. Because Scar has murdered his brother into the gorge during a wildebeest stampede while also trying to kill his nephew Simba.
