It’d be refreshing if Twilight just blasted a couple pirates senseless with her immense magical power to get them to change their minds.

I love how she takes of her glasses like they were some kind of cover to hide her true identity. Apparently pirates are blind to wings and aren’t aware of the magical prowess of an alicorn

I don’t take the last panel here as the pirates suddenly noticing the wings (they had plenty of time to see them before this point); simply them lining up to bow before taking her for ransom once Pinkie blows her cover.
