Man that kinda reads like some desperate rationalization attempt to downplay what happened in Equestria Girls as much as possible. I think we can accept by the end of the movie that she’s retained any feelings she had for Flash and has tentatively transferred them to his Pony equivalent. They have a scene where she blushes super-hard and half-heartedly deny her friends’ accusations that she’s got a crush, and she remembers things like the dance well enough.

I figure it’s worse than that–Twilight probably doesn’t even remember getting a crush on the human Flash Sentry. At least, not remembering that it WAS a crush. She was in an alien world, in an alien body even, and there wasn’t enough time for her to adjust to the feelings she was experiencing and to understand them for what they were.
 
I’m guessing Twilight’s dismissed the entire “through the mirror” sequence as just one really weird dream. The only thing she can’t figure out is why it seems to have left her with an inexplicable attraction to blue-maned pegasi.

“I met an alternate-universe you and we started to fall in love, now whenever I see you I start to feel lonely” sounds a little weird. She’s probably too shy to say anything.
 
In fact, if we go “canon by omission”, it’ll probably be canon that Twilight will never talk about her one romantic experience to anyone again, and certainly not to Flash. That’s crazy repressed.

All she has to do is open her mouth and say why she just did it.

Flash appears to have no idea what’s going on, while Twilight seems oddly sad. At a guess, she’s feeling lonely and is coming on strong to Flash even though she knows he doesn’t “remember” her because it’s the closest thing to romance she can find.
